Lickity Pixel unveils PickPic 3 first look Glimpse offers just a hint at 18 months of development November 2, 2006 — Lickity Pixel has pulled back the curtain on the innovative new interface for its forthcoming PickPic 3 proofing experience. The version 3 preview images, available for viewing at www.lickitypixel.com, display a sophisticated tab-centric layout designed to ease navigation and present information more quickly and effectively. "PickPic 3 will further differentiate us from competitive solutions that have simply copied what others have already done," said Troy Widner, Lickity Pixel's Chief Pixel. "Since we knew that we were rebuilding PickPic from the ground up with version 3, we decided to take the opportunity to really analyze what works in proofing and what doesn't. As a result, we've developed something that we think is very special." PickPic is the revolutionary host-it-yourself solution that provides photographers the tools to offer fully branded and feature-rich online proofing without the frustration of dwindling profits at the hands of high fees and commissions. Version 3 will include over 200 new features and enhancements, transforming proofing into a full-fledged experience for photographer and client alike. Development of PickPic 3 was first publicly disclosed in April 2006 at WPPI 2006 in Las Vegas. The final release is expected in the December 2006/January 2007 timeframe. Pricing and full features will be disclosed at that time. Founded by Troy Widner, Lickity Pixel is dedicated to developing innovative solutions for digital artists of all stripes. Their flagship offering, PickPic, is internationally renowned for empowering the very best photographers in the world with the tools necessary to host their own online proofing galleries and shopping experiences. ### Contact: Copyright © 2006 Lickity Pixel.
