White House Custom Colour (WHCC) began its transition to the new emerging digital technology in late 1999. We were a very small, local film lab for portrait and wedding photographers in and around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The WHCC owners, Webb White and Mike Hanline, created an environment of client focused innovation, combined with operational simplicity that endures to this day.

From the very beginning our beliefs and actions were centered around this mantra: WHCC is about one thing: your success as a professional photographer. Everything we do, every day, has this purpose in mind. It is what drives us! When you succeed, we succeed.

Acquiring PickPic
In 2008, WHCC acquired PickPic (formerly Lickity Pixel), a company renowned for empowering photographers with the tools to control their own online photo proofing galleries and shopping experiences. We feel very strongly that PickPic is the best-in-class online proofing and order fulfillment solution without the frustration of dwindling profits at the hands of high commissions.
