PickPic Photo-ma-tron for Photoshop lives!

March 6, 2009 — Lickity Pixel is proud to announce the official release of PickPic Photo-ma-tron for Photoshop, a powerful suite of scripts and actions that run within Adobe Photoshop CS3 and CS4 to help complete common workflow tasks related to PickPic order processing and web gallery preparation.
Photo-ma-tron for Photoshop offers three separate modules:
- Order Processor. Photo-ma-tron can find high-resolution images and then automatically gather and/or create resized lab-ready variants complete with toning, borders, and cropping. Orders can be processed singularly or in batches — all with the same ease-of-use.
- Gallery Preparer. Photo-ma-tron can generate low-resolution "web-friendly" images for PickPic.
- Tone & Border Helper. Photo-ma-tron can read toning actions and border files, then create the necessary support files for PickPic.
"At its core, Photo-ma-tron provides PickPic users invaluable help when it comes to the sometimes-arduous task of prepping high-resolution images for their lab," said Troy Widner, Lickity Pixel's Chief Pixel. "It's not only an extremely useful tool now, but will also act as a perfect complement to the direct WHCC integration that's arriving later this year."
